Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO headphones are Opened Dynamic headphones, their quality is exceptional for most professional and audiophile applications,  they can be used for extended period of time because you will need to listen to these Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO headphones for a long time, they will force you to do this as you will notice that you never listened to real music until using them, bottom line these are the best for many users that had many other headphones,  they admit in their reviews that these are the best headphones they owned from their exceptional sound quality,  if you want to listen to real music ; i mean music that you already listened to with other headphones, try these headphones and do not wait until you are 38 years old like me. Honestly i bought the Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO headphones and own them, thank god that i bought them at this age, i used many other headphones, these ones are the best, compared them to the Audio-Technica ATHANC7 that are owned by one of my friends , there is no comparison from the quality and fidelity prospective, i saw his face when he listened to the Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO headphones, his mouth was opened for at least 1 minute, there is a difference and the Beyerdynamic DT 990 generated full audio range with precision and a non comparable fidelity. Another friend bought Audio-Technica ATHM40FS i compared them to the Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO headphones, they fail again when i boosted the base on the equalizer, distortion problem which was not faced on the many time award winners Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO, in other words they are one of the Best Headphones
